 My First Solo Trip: What I Learned (and Would Do Differently)  I don't know if I can call this a first solo trip or a first solo long haul flight My first solo trip was to New York to meet my then-boyfriend  I did a solo trip to California and spent 3 weeks traveling around southern california.  A few years later I did another trhee week solo trip to brazil And this was the begining of multiple solo trips.
